WHO WE ARE
Fresno Coalition for Digital Inclusion (FCDI) is a cross-sector coalition working to close the digital divide across Fresno County and beyond. Born in 2021 from conversations within Fresno’s Cradle to Career initiative, we’ve grown from a volunteer effort into a non-profit uniting local governments, school districts, health and housing agencies, nonprofits, and philanthropic partners around one common goal: affordable internet access and accessible digital skills for every resident.
WHAT WE DO
We help move the needle on digital equity, from uncovering the real scope of the problem with better data, to building and funding the infrastructure and programs that solve it. That means coalition building, fund and grant development, technical assistance on broadband projects, policy advocacy, and thought partnership. Because we’re a non-profit, we don’t charge for our services.
HOW WE DO IT
We measure digital access and affordability in all areas of Fresno County, then convene cross-sector partners to build and fund solutions in underserved communities while simultaneously advocating for better policies at the local, regional, and state level. Through the S2J2 initiative and our leadership with the Connect the Valley coalition, we are now expanding that model across Madera, Kings, and Tulare Counties as well.
